Joe Gelinas has
lived in the Berkshires his whole life. He
graduated from Wahconah Regional High School in
2003 and made his way up to northern Vermont
where he attended and graduated from Lyndon
State College. He received degrees in Natural
Resource Management and GIS/GPS Technology in
2008. Shortly following college he returned to
the Berkshires and purchased his first home in
Joe grew up in a family involved in real estate,
either as agents, Broker/Owner or investors and
sometimes both. He learned at an early age that
home ownership was important and purchasing a
multi-family was a way to own a home and have
your mortgage shared by your tenants. Joe made
the decision to not only purchase a two family
home but at the same time decided that he
enjoyed all aspects of real estate and took the
realtor course to become a realtor.
Joe received his real estate license in 2011.
Since then he has helped many people find their
first home, dream home or investment property.
Joe’s honesty, integrity and true gift in making
clients feel comfortable and taken care of, has
made him an effective Realtor.
The most enjoyable and gratifying piece of
owning a home is he now is able to own dogs
without having to get permission. Since
purchasing his home he has rescued two dogs; Zam
from the Pittsfield Humane Society and Blue from
Pack Leaders Dog Rescue. He enjoys spending time
walking and playing with his dogs along with
hiking and biking around the Berkshires.
